the piece you seek to use, the purpose of the usage, extent of the
usage, and, in the case of requests to include a recording on a
CD you hope to produce, the number of pressings you plan to make.

publishing company, the decision whether or not to publish a particular
work depends upon many issues. If you have a composition that you
believe is of professional quality (not in terms of degree of difficulty,
necessarily, but, rather, in its professional presentation, i.e.
preliminarily engraved, edited, proof-read, recorded), please feel
free to contact us about whether it might be the kind of piece we
